Primary Duties & Responsibilities
- Prepare and check CNC machines prior to operation to ensure they are fully functional.
- Determine the sequence of machine operations and select the appropriate cutting tools to machine workpieces into the desired shapes.
- Analyze job orders, drawings, blueprints, and specifications to calculate dimensions, tool selection, and machine speeds.
- Revise programs or tapes to eliminate errors and retest programs to ensure accuracy.
- Write instruction sheets and cutter lists for the machine's controller to guide setup.
- Inspect table slabs before routing to ensure quality standards are met.
- Perform post-production checks on machines, cleaning them and reporting any maintenance needs.
- Record daily production, including sales orders and parts made, and report any scrap or outages.
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment, following all safety procedures.
- Collaborate with team members and contribute to the achievement of production goals.

- Other duties as assigned.
Required Skills & Experience
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in CNC machine operation or related fields.
- Knowledge of raw materials, machine tools, production processes, and quality control standards.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and design data.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work.
- Ability to troubleshoot CNC programs and machines to ensure precision.
- Must be able to work with minimal supervision and maintain focus on tasks.
- Ability to work safely and efficiently in a manufacturing environment.
- Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship.
- Must be willing and able to work overtime as required.
Preferred Qualifications
- High School diploma is preferred; GED required. Additional experience may be considered in lieu of a diploma.
Physical & Environmental Requirements
- Ability to work in a non-climate-controlled environment, with exposure to heat and cold.
- Regular use of hands to handle or feel objects, tools, or controls.
- Ability to stand for prolonged periods and perform repetitive tasks.
- Ability to lift and/or move up to 50 lbs. without assistance.
- Ability to hear and differentiate between sounds.
- Visual acuity, including distance, peripheral vision, depth perception, and color differentiation.
