Responsibilities:

• Program, set up, and operate 5-axis CNC lathe machines to produce components to specification.
• Review and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and CAD models.
• Monitor machine performance and troubleshoot issues to optimize quality and efficiency.
• Conduct quality checks to ensure accuracy and consistency.
• Maintain and calibrate machinery for optimal production levels.
• Collaborate with team members and communicate effectively to meet production goals.

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification is preferred.
• 3+ years of experience as a CNC machinist, with specific experience in 5-axis lathe operations.
• Experience working with wood is a plus but not required.
• Proficiency in CNC programming and knowledge of G-code/M-code.
• Familiarity with CAD/CAM software (e.g., Mastercam, SolidWorks).
• Strong understanding of quality control principles.
• Ability to work independently with high attention to detail.
