What You’ll Do:
+ CNC Operation: Set up full production cycle and operate CNC Lathe machines for tasks such as turning, drilling, bar feeding, and live tooling.
+ Machine Optimization: Optimize setup times, improve productivity, maintain offsets, and maximize machine utilization.
+ Blueprint Interpretation: Read and understand blueprints and route instructions.
+ GD&T Application: Apply expertise in Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T).
+ Program Troubleshooting: Troubleshoot programs and make necessary adjustments.
+ Inspection Process: Follow in-process part inspection protocols and report non-conformance issues to the Supervisor/Lead.
+ Collaborative Communication: Coordinate with superintendents, managers, production control, and quality personnel to resolve quality concerns.
+ Safety Compliance: Work safely and consistently wear required PPE throughout the shift.
+ Shift Documentation: Record and document issues for a seamless shift transition.
+ Preventive Maintenance: Perform daily maintenance checks and document findings.
What You'll Bring:
+ Measurement Proficiency: Knowledge of calipers, gauges, and other required measuring tools.
+ Math Skills: Strong proficiency in basic math.
+ Documentation Skills: Ability to accurately document machining procedures.
+ Tooling Knowledge: Familiarity with metals, part-holding fixtures, and lathe/mill tooling.
+ Machine Experience: Experience with Okuma, Mazak, and Mori lathe machines (preferred).
+ Communication: Basic oral communication skills and the ability to read, comprehend, and complete logs and reports in English.
+ Physical Stamina: Ability to handle heavy items, including lifting, pushing, pulling, and positioning components.
+ Policy Compliance: Availability to work scheduled hours and adhere to all company policies, including timekeeping.
+ Adaptability: Ability to work in a non-climate-controlled shop environment and stand for an entire shift.
+ Technical Knowledge: Strong understanding of machining practices, materials, and general mechanical principles.
+ Willingness to Learn: Eagerness to be trained and a desire to learn new skills.
+ Teamwork: Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
+ Reliability: Dependable with a strong work ethic and a positive attitude.
Your Schedule:
+ 2nd Shift, Monday – Friday, 2:40 PM - 11:15 PM
