About the Job
Position Description
- Set up machines (calibration, cleaning, change overs, etc.)
Control and adjust machine settings
Inspect with precision and measuring tools
Test operation of machine periodically
Fix issues that might occur during the shift
Maintain activity log
Ensure machine is working at full capacity and producing quality product
May be placed into job rotation
Complete standard work and quality checks
Visual check on quality
Complete process control sheet
Complete 5s checklist
Participate in daily production meeting
Keep work area clean and organized
Work individually or with team members as assigned
Always observe safety policies and procedures, including use of required PPE
Work individually or with team members as assigned
Maintain a clean, organized, and positive work environment
Other duties as assigned by supervisor
Requirements
- Experience with machine operation, forklift, hand tools is helpful but training is provided.
Skills needed:
- Strong work ethic.
Able to work in a fast paced environment.
Able to work individually or with team members as assigned, maintaining a positive work environment.
Excellent attendance work habit needed.
Able to maintain a safe work environment by following all safety rules.
Able to work 5 to 6 days a week and over 10 hours a day as required.
Able to pass a Pre-employment /Post-offer drug screen and physical and background check.

Physical Requirements
Tolerance for standing long periods of time. Possess finger dexterity to write, type, and use a calculator. Maintain adequate vision to view small print on countertops and computer terminal. Ability to speak and hear, walk throughout facilities with occasional light lifting (25 pounds), stooping, kneeling, crouching, and reaching with hands and arms required. Ability to travel between multiple facilities as required to perform core job duties.
