We are seeking an experienced and dedicated CNC Mill Machinist with a strong background in the manufacturing industry. This is a full-time permanent position that offers a competitive salary and benefits package. Our ideal candidate will have a minimum of three years of experience with CNC mill, vertical mill set-up, and horizontal milling. The successful candidate will be responsible for setting up and operating CNC machines, ensuring the quality of products, and maintaining a safe and clean work environment.
Responsibilities
1. Set up and operate CNC milling machines to produce precision parts.
2. Interpret technical drawings and specifications to ensure accurate production.
3. Perform routine machine maintenance and troubleshoot any issues that arise.
4. Monitor the quality of output to identify, discard, or re-manufacture faulty products.
5. Maintain safety standards and keep work area clean and organized.
6. Collaborate with the team to improve manufacturing processes and achieve efficiency.
7. Perform tool changes as required and ensure that tools are in good condition.
8. Document and report any issues or irregularities observed.
9. Assist in other areas of the shop as needed, demonstrating flexibility and teamwork.
Qualifications
1. A minimum of 3 years of experience as a CNC Mill Machinist in a manufacturing setting.
2. Proficient in CNC mill, vertical mill set-up, and horizontal milling.
3. Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.
4. Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
5. Excellent mechanical and technical skills.
6. Knowledge of safety protocols and procedures in a manufacturing environment.
7. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
8. Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
9. Physical stamina and strength to lift heavy items and work for extended periods.
10. High school diploma or equivalent; certification or degree in a related field is a plus.
