CNC Mill and Lathe Operator at PrideStaff

Job Description Summary
Sets up and operates conventional CNC Machines such as CNC Mill and CNC Lathe with but not limited to Fanuc controls to fabricate metallic and nonmetallic parts by performing the following duties:

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
-Measures, marks, and scribes dimensions and reference points on material or work-piece as guides for subsequent machining.
-Selects, aligns and secures holding fixtures, cutting tools, attachments, accessories, and materials on machines such as mills, lathes, jig borers, grinders, and shapers.
-Calculates and sets controls to regulate machining factors such as speed, feed, coolant flow, and depth and angle of cut, or enters commands to retrieve, input, or edit computerized machine control media.
- Must be able to program/edit G-Code and Mazatrol is a plus.
-Starts and observes machine operation to detect malfunctions or out-of-tolerance machining, and adjusts machine controls or control media as required.
-Verifies conformance of finished workpiece to blue prints.
-Verifies dimensions and alignment of assembly.
-Follows company policies to workers and safety regulations.

Education and/or Experience
Technical degree; or three to five years related experience and/or training; or the equivalent combination of education and experience.

Computer Skills
To perform this job successfully, an individual should have knowledge of G-Code and Mazatrol a plus.

Job Details:

• Pay $22 to $35/hr. DOE
• Schedule: Monday through Friday and possible Saturdays - overtime expected
