CNC Maintenance Technician

1st shift - 5a-3p Monday-Thursday

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Maintenance Technician to join our team and support the maintenance of CNC and associated machinery. This multi-craft role involves installations, preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, repair, calibration, and alignment of machinery. You will play a crucial part in improving machine uptime in a large, modern machine shop.

Responsibilities

• Install, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair CNC and associated machinery.

• Perform preventive maintenance to ensure optimal machine performance.

• Calibrate and align CNC machines and related equipment.

• Support the maintenance team in continual improvements to increase machine uptime.

• Electrical troubleshooting and repair

Essential Skills

• Experience in troubleshooting and preventive maintenance.

• Proficiency in working with lathes, mills, and CNC machinery.

• Knowledge of Fanuc controls, tooling, blueprints, micrometers, and GD&T.

• Ability to understand and follow operating procedures and best practices.

• High level of interpersonal and communication skills for team participation.

• Experience in a CNC machining environment.

• Ability to safely work on and diagnose electrical issues (110-480v).

• Knowledge and ability to identify replacement parts.

• Knowledge of plumbing, pipefitting, pneumatics, and hydraulics.

• Proficient in troubleshooting approaches, tools, and techniques.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Preferred knowledge of Siemens, Fanuc, Okuma, Seiko, Hitachi, Haas, and Mazatrol controls.

• Familiarity with CMMS systems (

• Ability and knowledge in rigging equipment and components.

• Ability to read blueprints and follow schematics.

• Strong desire to learn and work in a team environment.
