Our client is seeking multiple CNC Machinists to join their team at a state-of-the-art facility. We are looking for candidates with strong lathe experience, ranging from Operators (3-5 years of experience) to High-Level Setup Machinists (10+ years of experience). Experience with Miyano or Citizen Swiss CNC lathes is highly desired but not required.
Job Description:
We are excited to invite skilled and enthusiastic CNC Machinists to contribute to high-quality production and precision manufacturing. This role involves machine setup, operation, and first article inspections while troubleshooting and maintaining CNC lathes to ensure peak performance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Set up, operate, and perform first article inspections to meet quality and production standards.
- Leverage CNC turning experience to troubleshoot and resolve maintenance and quality issues.
- Collaborate with the team to meet production schedules and quality requirements.
- Communicate issues and propose process improvements to enhance efficiency.
- Support the workflow with additional tasks as needed.
Specific Duties:
- Execute precise machine setups and conduct first article inspections.
- Perform routine maintenance to ensure machine reliability.
- Assist in training machinists to uphold quality and production standards.
- Prioritize production tasks based on management directives.
- Utilize inspection tools, including microscopes, calipers, micrometers, and optical comparators, to verify accuracy.
- Complete and validate all necessary documentation accurately.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma, GED, or equivalent experience.
- Minimum of 5 years in a CNC machining environment.
- Experience with Citizen Swiss CNC or Miyano lathes is a plus but not required.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a team.
- Skilled at following directions and performing complex tasks with precision.
- Excellent hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity.
