Are you a skilled CNC Machinist looking for a challenging and rewarding role in the engineering industry? We are seeking a dedicated and experienced individual to join our team as a Permanent CNC Machinist. In this role, you will be responsible for setting up, operating, and maintaining CNC machines to ensure the production of high-quality components. You will also be expected to interpret blueprints, troubleshoot issues, and maintain a high level of precision in all aspects of your work. If you have a passion for precision, a knack for problem-solving, and a commitment to excellence, we would love to hear from you.
Responsibilities:
1. Operate and maintain CNC machines to produce high-quality parts and components.
2. Interpret and follow blueprints to meet product specifications.
3. Troubleshoot and resolve issues with machines and parts.
4. Use precision tools to ensure parts meet exact specifications.
5. Perform tooling, grinding, and lathe operations as required.
6. Maintain a clean and safe workspace in accordance with company guidelines.
7. Collaborate with a team of machinists and engineers to improve production processes.
8. Perform routine maintenance on CNC machines to ensure optimal performance.
9. Monitor output to identify or discard any defective parts or products.
10. Adhere to all safety protocols and procedures.
Qualifications:
1. 3+ years of experience as a CNC Machinist or in a similar role in the engineering industry.
2. Proficiency in CNC machine operation, blueprint reading, troubleshooting, tooling, grinding, lathe operation, and precision measurement.
3. Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
4. Ability to interpret technical documents and blueprints.
5. Strong knowledge of metal properties and machining procedures.
6. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
7. Good physical stamina and strength to lift heavy items and work on your feet for extended periods.
8. High school diploma or equivalent; certification or degree in a relevant field is a plus.
9. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
10. Commitment to maintaining a safe and efficient work environment.
