CNC Machinist - Weekend Night Shift - Enjet Aero, LLC

Enjet Aero machines and fabricates complex jet engine parts, components and assemblies for leading OEMs in the commercial, defense and general aviation sectors. The only way for a company to meet such a goal is to consistently meet production deadlines and expectations.Position Description:The CNC Machinist performs detailed machine setups, CNC programming, machine process improvement and troubleshooting, and produces machined parts. The position is for WEEKEND NIGHT shift - Friday, Saturday and Sunday 5:00 PM - 5:00 AM; working 36 hours and receiving a 4-hour bonus, totaling 40 hours, also includes a 35% shift differential.Essential Responsibilities:Set-up and operator lathes with live millingUse precision measuring tools to check and inspect to close tolerance requirementsDocument SPC and inspection results preciselyAbility to modify tooling and fixtures as neededAdvise supervisor and programming team of technical advancements to increase productionOperate machines to produce production runs of partsMaintain quality standards through understanding of the Quality Management SystemMonitor and document operational and performance issues and provide feedback to supervisorDevelop and maintain effective working relationships with peers, supervisor, and other staffOther duties as directed by supervisorQualifications:2+ years of experience in CNC machine operationCNC Swiss lathe setup experience is a plusRead and understand blueprints and GD&TExperience with changing tools, performing offsets and quality checks on partsStrong verbal communication and problem-solving skillsAttention to detail and ability to deal with complexityCapable of working in a customer-focused, deadline-driven environment while maintaining a positive attitudeInterested in learning with, and from, engineering and programming team to improve operationsBenefits: Enjet offers a comprehensive benefits package to full-time employees including paid time off, health insurance, dental insurance, vision insurance, paid holidays, a 401K retirement plan, disability insurance, and more.As an EOE/AA employer, Enjet Aero will not discriminate in its employment practices due to an applicant's race, color, religious creed, national origin, ancestry, sex, age, veteran status, marital status or physical challenges.
