Are you a skilled CNC Machinist with a knack for precision and a love for creating? We are looking for a dedicated, experienced CNC Machinist to join our manufacturing team. This role will focus on operating and maintaining Swiss-style CNC machines, ensuring high-quality production of our products. The ideal candidate is a problem-solver who enjoys working with their hands, understands the importance of safety, and can consistently produce high-quality work.
Responsibilities:
As a CNC Machinist, your day-to-day duties will include:
1. Setting up and operating Swiss-style CNC machines to produce precision parts.
2. Reading and interpreting blueprints, sketches, and diagrams to understand the machining requirements of each job.
3. Performing regular maintenance on machines, including troubleshooting and repair, to ensure optimal performance and reduce downtime.
4. Inspecting finished products to ensure they meet quality standards and specifications.
5. Collaborating with the engineering and production teams to improve manufacturing processes and product quality.
6. Adhering to all safety protocols and procedures to maintain a safe and productive work environment.
7. Documenting and reporting any issues or irregularities with the machines or the manufacturing process.
8. Keeping the workspace clean and organized to ensure efficiency and safety.
Qualifications:
To be successful in this role, you will need:
1. A minimum of 2 years of experience as a CNC Machinist, preferably with Swiss-style machines.
2. Proficient in CNC Machine Operation and Lathe Operation.
3. Strong knowledge and experience in machine set-up.
4. Ability to read and interpret blueprints.
5. Exceptional attention to detail and precision.
6. Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot issues.
7. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
8. A strong commitment to safety and quality.
9. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
10. High school diploma or equivalent. A certificate or degree in a relevant field is a plus.
