CNC Lathe Operator – Night Shift
Manual Grinding (Surface Grinding, OD/ID Grinding) – Night or Day Shifts
CNC Grinding – Night or Day Shifts
Schedule:
Day - M-F 6a-4:30p and Saturdays 6a-11:30p (highly encouraged)
Nights - M-F 4p-3:30a; no weekends
*For Days and Nights, Overtime is calculated DAILY

MACHINIST / CNC OPERATOR
Description:
Personnel performing Machinist functions shall possess the minimum requisite education, training, skills and experience consistent with the duties and responsibilities of such functions and activities as shall be determined by the hiring authority, including the following minimum requirements:
Responsibilities include:
- Preparing and operating CNC machines to perform tasks such as drilling, grinding, milling, turning etc.
- Understanding specifications of the task at hand and the desired result by reading blueprints, mechanical drawings etc.
- Translate instructions into computer commands so the machines can perform the correct function.
- Prepare and load raw materials and parts onto the machines.
- Prepare a test run to check if the machines produce outputs according to specifications.
- Supervising the machines while they execute the tasks and make any necessary adjustments to produce a better result.
- Inspect and measure finished products and compare them with requirements to determine if the process has been completed properly.
- Check and maintain machinery daily to ensure functionality.
- The Client also has identified Cell Leaders for each manufacturing cell. These individuals are Machinists / CNC Operators with the added responsibilities of being manufacturing cell supervisors responsible for their own individual process (example: Turning, Milling, Grinding, etc.) as well as setting up jobs, verifying other operators work within their cell and training the operators within their cell. Each process consists of multiple machines and operators.
