Are you a skilled CNC Machinist/Programmer with a passion for precision and a knack for problem-solving? We are seeking a seasoned CNC Machinist/Programmer with a strong background in MasterCam programming, AutoCAD, and CNC Programming, preferably in the Aerospace Manufacturing industry. Responsibilities:
As a CNC Machinist/Programmer, your primary responsibilities will include:
1. Programming, setting up, and operating CNC machines to perform tasks such as drilling, grinding, milling, etc.
2. Translating instructions into computer commands so the machines can perform the correct function.
3. Preparing and loading raw materials and parts onto the machines.
4. Supervising the machines while they execute the tasks and make any necessary adjustments to produce a better result.
5. Inspecting and measuring finished products to check their accuracy and ensure they meet the required specifications.
6. Maintaining machinery, performing routine checks and regular clean-ups to ensure its longevity.
7. Troubleshooting machine malfunctions and performing repairs to ensure efficient operations.
8. Reviewing blueprints, plans, and engineering instructions for implementing them into machine and software.
9. Working closely with the team to implement new designs and producing prototypes for testing.
Qualifications:
The ideal candidate for the CNC Machinist/Programmer position should possess the following qualifications:
1. A minimum of 5 years of experience as a CNC Machinist/Programmer.
2. Proficient in MasterCam programming, AutoCAD, and CNC Programming.
3. Previous experience in the Aerospace Manufacturing industry is highly desirable.
4. A thorough understanding of the properties of different materials and how they are affected by various manufacturing processes.
5. Strong problem-solving skills and a keen eye for detail.
6. Excellent mechanical aptitude and the ability to use a wide variety of tools and equipment.
7. Strong understanding of blueprints, technical drawings, and models.
8. Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
9. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
10. Commitment to adhering to all safety standards and procedures.
