We are a leading player in the Manufacturing industry, seeking a skilled CNC Machinist to join our dynamic team. This is a permanent, full-time position that offers a competitive salary and benefits package. Responsibilities:
As a CNC Machinist, you will be responsible for:
1. Setting up, operating, and maintaining CNC machines to produce high-quality parts for various industries including aerospace, automotive, and industrial manufacturing
2. Interpreting complex blueprints, drawings, and schematics to ensure accurate production.
3. Programming CNC machines according to project specifications, using CAD/CAM software.
4. Performing boring operations and operating gantry mills proficiently.
5. Conducting regular inspections to ensure machinery is in optimal working condition.
6. Adhering to all safety protocols and procedures to maintain a safe and efficient work environment.
7. Troubleshooting machine malfunctions and performing necessary repairs.
8. Collaborating with the engineering team to optimize machining processes and improve efficiency.
9. Meeting production deadlines without compromising on quality.
Qualifications:
To be successful in this role, you will need:
1. A minimum of 3 years' experience as a CNC Machinist or CNC Programmer
2. Proficiency in CNC programming, preferably with experience in CAD/CAM software.
3. Solid experience with boring and operating gantry mills.
4. Exceptional attention to detail and a strong commitment to producing high-quality work.
5. The ability to interpret complex blueprints, drawings, and schematics.
6. Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot machine malfunctions.
7. Strong communication and teamwork skills.
8. A commitment to safety and efficiency in the workplace.
9. A high school diploma or equivalent is required; a degree in a relevant field or a machinist certification is preferred.
