Savard is currently seeking to hire a CNC Machinist in or near Beaumont, TX for Job # 17535


Job Scope/Duties:
A CNC Operator, sets up and operates metal-cutting machinery to build tools and parts of various machinery. Their duties include studying blueprints and creating the design, cutting metal and manipulating it to build the project, and performing regular maintenance on their machinery.
- Read prints for required specifications and dimensions
- Measure parts using different measuring tools (tape measure, dial calipers, dial indicators, micrometers)
- Remove slag using grinders
- Operate overhead cranes on daily basis to load machines with parts
- Cut supports to lengths needed using a hot saw
- Occasionally operate fork lifts.

Work Experience Required:
- 2 years CNC Drill experience required
- 1 year of Manufacturing experience required

Other Requirements:
Must pass 10 panel
Must pass QBG
Must have Resume- EE generated
- High School Diploma or Equivalent
- Problem solving capabilities
- Ability to learn and follow all safety rules
- Ability to follow instructions
- Ability to work overtime

Shift/Hours:
Night Shift (will train on days) days will vary
44 hours max.


Pay Rate:
$ 22.00 to $ 28.00 DOE
Up to $1288 weekly with 44 hrs
