We are currently seeking a dynamic, detail-oriented, and highly skilled Permanent CNC Machinist Lead to join our Accounting + Finance team. The successful candidate will be an integral part of our team, utilizing their expertise in CNC operations and precision measurement tools to drive efficiency and accuracy in our financial processes. This role is perfect for an individual with a strong background in CNC machining, coupled with a passion for finance and accounting.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee and perform CNC operations on 5 Axis machines, ensuring optimal performance and accuracy.
- Utilize precision measurement tools such as micrometers and calipers to ensure the highest level of precision and accuracy in all tasks.
- Leverage Mastercam software to design and implement efficient machining processes.
- Operate and program Fanuc controls to optimize machine performance.
- Collaborate with the accounting and finance team to streamline and improve financial processes through the application of CNC machining principles.
- Ensure all CNC operations comply with safety regulations and company policies.
- Troubleshoot and resolve any issues with the CNC machines, including performing regular maintenance and repairs.
- Train and mentor other team members on the use of CNC machines and precision measurement tools.
- Continuously seek opportunities for process improvement, leveraging your technical skills and knowledge to drive efficiency and accuracy.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in a CNC machining role.
- Extensive knowledge and experience with 5 Axis machines, micrometers, calipers, Mastercam, and Fanuc.
- Proven experience in a leadership or supervisory role.
- Strong understanding of finance and accounting principles is a plus.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot issues with CNC machines.
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to effectively train and mentor others.
- Detail-oriented, with a strong focus on accuracy and precision.
- Ability to work well in a team environment and collaborate with colleagues at all levels.
- Commitment to adhering to safety regulations and maintaining a safe work environment.
- Bachelor's degree in a related field is preferred.
