Our client, one of the largest line pipe distributors in the United States is looking for a reliable CNC Manual Machinist. As a CNC Manual Lathe operator, you will calibrate and operate a manual lathe machine which is used to cut, sand, drill, and turn materials.
Your New Role:
As a CNC Manual Machinist II, you will inspect their workstation to ensure the machine is in working order.
What You Will Do:
- Set up and operate lathe to perform machining operations; turning, boring, threading, and facing
- On metal workpieces; castings, forgings, and bar stock according to specifications
- Read blueprints, job orders, tooling instructions, and charts
- The operator will be responsible for the operation of the machine
- Monitor and maintain equipment and machinery
What You Need:
- Capable of interpreting blueprints
- Able to do basic mill setups
- High school diploma or equivalent qualification required
- 1 - 3 years experience working with machines
- Must be able to pass pre-employment screenings.
