CNC Machinist I - Nights at ProSource Staffing

Summary/Objective:

A well-established service company is seeking a CNC Machinist I (MAZAK) at their Pasadena, Tx. facility. Qualified candidates should have the capability and adaptability to perform the job duties described below. Ideal candidates will have basic math skills, strong oral communications, and seek a position that provides steady employment and growth opportunities. The CNC Machinist must be able to work in high-demand and fast-paced environments.

Pay Range (Depending on Experience): $23.01 hr. to $27.00 hr.  

Essential Functions and Responsibilities:
 

• Operate a CNC Milling Machine (MAZAK)
• Ability to read ruler/tape measurer & calipers
• Provide assistance to other machinists
• Safety & Housekeeping compliance
• Ability to read ruler/tape measurer & calipers
• Setup machine & change tools
• The ability to create programs using Mazatrol programming language is a PLUS but not required
• Edit programs as needed (can be trained)
    

• Excellent problem-solving skills
• Familiar with operating a MAZAK CNC machine  
• Familiar with quality and safety standards
• Familiar with CNC tooling
• Computer literate with experience using e-mail
• Ability to understand and apply workplace safety procedures
• Practical knowledge of manufacturing processes and equipment required
• Ability to lift 40 pounds
• Ability to sit, stand, bend, reach, kneel, twist, pull, push, grip, and climb
• May be exposed to excessive noise and fumes
