TPI Staffing is hiring for 6 CNC Machinist in N. Houston (77073)
Temp to Hire
Paying: $20-$30/hr depending on experience
Second Shift: 4pm – 12am
CNC Machinist Responsibilities:
- Set up and run a variety of DMG Mori and Doosan CNC lathe, mill CNC, and manual lathe machines, and perform side operations during the machine cycle time
- Process job orders ensuring daily prioritization and workflow to meet production demand
- Maintain a safe working environment while ensuring that all tasks are conducted with a safety-first attitude
- Participate in Lean Initiatives, adhering to quality control processes, reducing waste, and driving Continual Improvement
- Maintain equipment ensuring it is clean, orderly, secure and in proper working order, informing Shop Supervisor of attention needed
- Perform other non-essential, non-frequent duties as required within job classification and qualifications
- Identify opportunities for improvement and make suggestions
