CNC Machinist
Requirements and Skills:
- 1 - 3 Years’ experience with CNC machines
- Basic knowledge of CNC equipment and tooling
- Experience with the following equipment:
- Belt Sander, Drop Saw, CNC VCM, Band Saw, 1 - 3 years with CAM software, Hand Saw, Miscellaneous Hand Tools
- Understand work and tool offsets
- Troubleshooting programs
- Three axis vertical mill setup
- Multi-vise work holding
- Long reach tooling
- Filing and deburr
- Import and export of NC files
- Workplace safety
- Able to lift 40 lbs. repeatedly
- Attention to detail and surface quality
- G and M code through MDI
- Tool construction and breakdown
- Accurate use of measuring equipment including, but not limited to :
- Calipers up to 100mm, Depth Micrometer, Gauge Blocks, Pin Gauges, Micrometer, Tape Measurer, Dial Test Indicator
- Hand tapping
- Metric and imperial conversion
- Fanuc controls
- Basic math - Fractions and Decimals
- Consistent work history
- Punctuality
- Willingness to learn
