Mills & Lathes – CNC & Manual - (HAAS, Mazak, Mori, Hardinge, & Sharp)
Type: Direct Hire, Benefited (W-2)
Compensation: $47,840-$62,400/yr. + 6mo. & 12mo. Pay Raises + O/T

Responsibilities:
- Prioritize, plan, and prepare work. Analyze tasks and establish an appropriate sequence of operations.
- Read blueprints and job orders for product specifications, number of parts to be machined, material specifications, machining stock, and due dates.
- Set up and operate various manual and 5-axis CNC lathes and CNC mills made by Haas, Mazak, Mori, Hardinge.
- Select correct tooling, speeds, and feed rates for each operation according to requirements and knowledge of metal properties and abrasives.
- Verify dimensions of ground workpiece for conformance to specifications using measuring instruments such as micrometers, comparators, calipers, dial indicators, gauge blocks, and load test equipment.
- Check machines for proper maintenance and preparation before starting each job.
- Machine components to blueprint specifications and stock allowances.
- Operate computer numerically controlled (CNC) equipment.
- Four years of precision machining experience OR journeymen papers.
- Willingness to cross-train on different equipment.
- Excellent blueprint reading, understanding of GD&T, mechanical, and math abilities.
- Experience with CNC lathes and mills ( preferred: 5-axis HAAS mills and Mazak, Mori, and Hardinge lathes)
- Ability to use precision measurement tools such as micrometers, calipers, indicators, and comparators.
- Familiarity with controls including HAAS, Fanuc, and Mazcontrol, with minor program edits at the controller level.
- Experience with manual mills and lathes ( Preferred : Sharp)
- Commitment to quality, speed, and accuracy, and maximizing acceptable product percentages.
- Candidates must be able to work shifts, lift up to 40 lbs., and stand 8-10 hours per day.
- Committed to safety, team development, and product and service excellence.
- High school diploma or GED minimum.
