Are you a skilled CNC Machinist with a passion for crafting high-quality products? Do you have a keen eye for detail and a knack for precision? If so, this opportunity could be your next career move! We are a leading manufacturing company seeking a CNC Machinist to join our dynamic team. This role will involve working with cutting-edge technology to produce and inspect detailed components. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in CNC machine operation, blueprint reading, troubleshooting, precision measurement, equipment calibration, and architectural woodworking.
Responsibilities:
As a CNC Machinist, your duties will include but are not limited to:
1. Operating and maintaining CNC machines to perform tasks such as drilling, grinding, milling, etc.
2. Translating instructions into computer commands so the machines can perform the correct function.
3. Reading and interpreting complex blueprints, engineering plans, and other specifications.
4. Troubleshooting and resolving issues with machines and parts.
5. Using precision tools to take accurate measurements for quality control checks.
6. Calibrating and adjusting machinery and equipment to ensure optimal performance.
7. Crafting high-quality architectural woodwork as per specifications.
8. Adhering to all safety protocols and standard operating procedures.
9. Participating in continuous improvement activities and suggesting improvements in machining processes.
Qualifications:
To be successful in this role, you will need:
1. A minimum of 5 years of experience as a CNC machinist in the manufacturing industry.
2. Proficiency in CNC machine operation and maintenance.
3. Exceptional skills in blueprint reading and interpretation.
4. Proven troubleshooting skills with the ability to resolve machinery and part issues efficiently.
5. Extensive experience with precision measurement and equipment calibration.
6. Experience in architectural woodworking and a keen eye for quality.
7. Strong understanding of safety protocols and standard operating procedures in a manufacturing environment.
8. Excellent communication skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team.
9. A high school diploma or equivalent. A relevant certification or apprenticeship in CNC machining or a related field is highly desirable.
