Position Summary: We are seeking experienced CNC Machinists to join our team. This role offers hands-on challenges and opportunities for growth as you work with a diverse array of parts in a supportive environment. Key Responsibilities:
Entry-Level (A):
- Operate 4-axis and below mills and turning centers.
- Monitor multiple machines efficiently.
- Utilize mics, calipers, and basic inspection techniques.
- Inspect and record critical features on parts using hand tools and comparators.
- Read and interpret blueprints.
- Preset tooling per the tool sheet.
Advanced-Level (B):
- All responsibilities from Entry-Level (A).
- Perform simple setups on 4-axis and below mills and turning centers.
- Conduct semi-complicated prove-outs of new programs.
- Operate 5-axis mills and mill-turn machines.
- Operate Swiss machinery.
- Use independent judgment for tooling and work coordinates.
- Operate CMM for verification and perform minor CNC program edits.
Advanced-Level (A):
- All responsibilities from Advanced-Level (B) and Entry-Level (A).
- Efficient setups on all CNC equipment.
- Perform prove-outs on complicated setups and parts.
- Calculate and suggest complex changes to part programs.
- Serve as a trainer in mechanical inspection techniques and CNC equipment.
- Demonstrate leadership by mentoring team members.
Qualifications:
- Strong knowledge of blueprint reading.
- Adequate math skills.
Key Competencies:
- Fundamental knowledge of CNC machining principles.
- Mechanical inclination.
- Team-oriented mindset.
Compensation:
- Starting Pay: $20.00 - $37.00/hr, depending on experience.
- Shift differentials offered for second and third shifts.
Work Schedule:
- Monday to Friday, 8-hour shifts.
