Immediate Hiring Need for First Shift CNC Machinist

$50-55K+ plus Generous Benefits Plan

Our team is looking to add a talented CNC Machinist with Vertical Milling Machines in Green Bay, Wisconsin.  You would perform machining operations under direct supervision using mills, drill presses, and lathes.

Responsibilities:

• Reads and interprets machining instructions from blueprints, part and machine drawings
• Set up basic tooling on manual mills.
• Set up, operates and programs a production work involving some close tolerances
• Inspect machine parts to ensure they meet proper size, shape, or tolerance specs using micrometers and other measuring tools and devices.
• Performs routine maintenance.
• Performs other secondary operations such as stamping part numbers and deburring during machine cycle times.
• Assists in other areas and performs additional tasks as needed.

Qualifications(Required):

• High School Diploma or GED required
• Must be good at problem solving,
• Mechanical aptitude
• Written and verbal communication skills
• Desire and ability to learn machining

Qualifications(Preferred):

• Technical Degree in Machine Tool Technology or related field preferred
• Knowledge of lean manufacturing or continuous improvement 
• 2+ years of relevant machining experience 
• Military experience
