CNC Machinist 2nd Shift - Spherion

Spherion is seeking a talented and experienced CNC Machinist to join our client's team in Mankato, MN. This is a full-time, 2nd shift position offering competitive pay and benefits.

Responsibilities:

• Operate CNC machines (mills, lathes, etc.) to produce precision parts  
• Set up and adjust machines to ensure accurate and efficient production  
• Read and interpret blueprints and engineering drawings
• Use precision measuring instruments to verify part dimensions and tolerances
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment

Required Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• 2+ years of CNC machining experience
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings
• Proficiency in using precision measuring instruments
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with a variety of CNC machine tools
• Knowledge of G-code and M-code programming
• Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
• Experience with CAD/CAM software
