Detailed Job Description

A company in Oberlin is seeking a CNC Machine Operator! Responsibilities will include operation of various CNC Turning, Vertical and Horizontal machining centers (Okuma/Mazak machines), make tool adjustments, change tooling, and maintain equipment. Must be able to read basic blueprints, calipers and micrometers. Must be able to make tool adjustments, change inserts and understand how to check dimensions. MUST BE ABLE TO READ A TAPE MEASURE DOWN TO 1/32ND. Computer knowledge is desired. Minimum of 1 year experience, MUST be in a manufacturing capacity operating CNC turning, vertical and horizontal machining centers. This is an operator position, we are not looking for a programmer. Typical hours: Monday-Friday 6:00AM-2:30PM; occasional Saturday 6:00AM-12:00PM. Temporary to hire opportunity, benefits available once hired in. No recent/violent felonies.
