Job Details
Responsibilities:
1. Develop, implement, and maintain CNC programs for lathes using G & M codes.
2. Set up, operate, and maintain CNC lathe machines to ensure the production of high-quality components.
3. Interpret technical drawings and specifications to determine the most efficient sequence of operations.
4. Perform regular inspections of finished products to ensure adherence to quality standards and specifications.
5. Collaborate closely with the design and production teams to optimize machining processes.
6. Troubleshoot and resolve issues with machines and programs in a timely manner.
7. Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment, adhering to all safety protocols and standards.
8. Provide training and guidance to junior staff members, fostering a culture of continuous learning and improvement.
9. Continuously stay updated on advancements in CNC technology and related software to enhance productivity and efficiency.
Qualifications:
1. A minimum of 5 years of experience as a CNC Lathe Programmer in the manufacturing industry.
2. Proficient in G & M code programming and CNC lathe operation.
3. Extensive knowledge of machining processes, tools, and materials.
4. Strong ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.
5. Excellent problem-solving skills, with the ability to troubleshoot and resolve issues efficiently.
6. Strong attention to detail, ensuring the production of high-quality components.
7. Excellent communication skills, with the ability to work effectively as part of a team.
8. Strong commitment to maintaining a safe and clean work environment.
9. Willingness to continuously learn and adapt to new technologies and processes.
10. A relevant certification or degree in a related field would be an advantage.
