CNC Lathe and Mill Operator - Spherion

Spherion Staffing is seeking multiple skilled CNC Operators with lathe or milling experience to join our client's dynamic manufacturing team. This is an excellent opportunity to be part of a growing company where you'll play an integral role in producing high-quality components. As a CNC Operator, you'll be responsible for operating and maintaining CNC lathe and mill machines. You'll work closely with our team to ensure that production runs smoothly, efficiently, and to precise specifications.

Multiple shifts available:
7:00AM-4:00PM
3:00PM-12:00AM

Responsibilities:
Operate CNC lathe and/or mill machines to produce precision parts.
Set up machines, perform tool changes, and make adjustments as needed.
Interpret blueprints to understand job requirements.
Conduct quality control checks using tools such as calipers.
Handle materials safely and efficiently during machining.
Adhere to established machining processes.
Collaborate with team members to improve production processes.

Working hours: 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM (Various Shifts Available)

Skills:
Experience in CNC machining, specifically with lathes and/or mills (required).
Proficiency in CNC programming (preferred).
High school diploma or GED (required).
Basic blueprint reading skills.
Good manual dexterity and attention to detail.
Ability to remain focused during repetitive tasks.
Capable of lifting up to 40 pounds and standing for 8 hours.
Must be able to read English and perform basic math functions.
Previous machine shop experience (preferred).

Education:
High School

Experience:
1-4 years

Qualifications:
Experience in CNC machining, specifically with lathes and/or mills (required).
Proficiency in CNC programming (preferred).
High school diploma or GED (required).
Basic blueprint reading skills.
Good manual dexterity and attention to detail.
Ability to remain focused during repetitive tasks.
Capable of lifting up to 40 pounds and standing for 8 hours.
Must be able to read English and perform basic math functions.
Previous factory experience (preferred).
