CNC Lathe Machinist Lead - Carlson Tool

We’re seeking a fully skilled**CNC Lathe Machinist**who’s ready to lead our team on**2nd Shift.**Your abilities will be put to expansive use while also guiding and leading our team of lathe machinists. Starting pay ranges from**$30 - $35/hr.**, with generous perks and benefits including:

What you’ll need to succeed:

• 5+ yearsof experience operating CNC Lathe machines isrequired.
• Proficient programming skills usingMazatrolisrequired.
• Prior experience mentoring others is a plus.
• Knowledge of Mastercam programming is a plus.
• Ability to read and interpret part prints and technical drawings.
• Ability to calculate dimensions and tolerances using knowledge of mathematics and instruments such as micrometers and calipers.
• Ability to process precision parts from start to finish.

Responsibilities include:

• Set up, Program and Run CNC Lathes
• Lead and mentor a team of CNC Lathe Machinists
• Inspect your own parts, maintain accurate inspection documentation using precision measuring instruments
• Perform multiple short run jobs with frequent changeovers and tool changes
• Maintain a safe working environment
