CNC Laser Operator at C.L. Rieckhoff Co., Inc.

POSITION SUMMARY:  

The CNC Laser Operator position requires a willingness to learn, accountability, reliable attendance and effort.

ESSESNTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

• Must be responsible for observing all safety rules and regulations
• Experience operating a CNC Laser Cutting Machine.
  • CY Laser machine experience preferred but not necessary.
• Experience operating a forklift.
• Tools and equipment utilized but not limited to: fiber laser machine, forklift, cutting equipment, standard hand tools, pneumatic/power tools, welding equipment, drill press, milling machine, lathe, hoists, hydraulic lift tables, basic carpenter tools, metal shearer, basic mechanical tools, man lift, electric meters/PLC

REQUIREMENTS (including educational requirements)

• High School diploma or equivalent
• Ability to multi-task and prioritize
• Ability to work flexible hours in a 24/7 manufacturing operation
• Ability to participate on teams in safety, quality, and process improvement
• Must be able to pass a drug test

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

• Ability to reach, bend, lift, and push objects weighing 3-75 lbs. on a continuous basis for the duration of the shift.
• Ability to carry/transport material with the dimensions of: 12”x12”, 25”x25”, 3’ length, and 9’ length
• Standing: Constantly (up to 100% of workday)
• Walking: Constantly (up to 100% of workday)
• Bending and Twisting: Constantly (up to 100% of workday)
• Temperature Extremes (percent of time working in non-climate controlled, production environment): Occasionally (up to 60% of workday)
• Noise (percent of time working in loud, production environment): Constantly (up to 100% of workday)
