SpiriTrust Lutheran® seeks enthusiastic and driven individuals who are interested in obtaining their CNA license. The next class will be held on December 3rd and Graduation will be on January 28th. Apply today, spots fill up quickly!
- Classes will be held at The Village at Gettysburg in Gettysburg, PA.
- Must be at least 18 years old.
- $13.00/hr during training
- Wage after training will be determined based upon previous experience.
- 3.5 week classes (Days 1-10: in the classroom and lab. Days 11-18: Clinicals).
- Class is Monday through Friday 7:00a-3:30p, 75 hours per bi-weekly pay
- Expectation to commit to at least 1 year of Full Time employment at SpiriTrust Lutheran after training is complete and you obtain your CNA license.
- A passion for working with the elderly population and desire to display dignity and compassion is a MUST.
Below is the general job description for our Nursing Assistant Positions.
Required:
- Completion of a Commonwealth of PA approved Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) training program.
- A passion for serving older adults.
Experience: Experience in a long-term care setting preferred.
General Responsibilities:
- Interacts with residents, families and fellow team members in a way that is consistent with our core values of heritage, service, integrity, dignity and stewardship.
- Provides direct care to residents, including assistance with activities of daily living.
- Work as a team with fellow caregivers to meet resident needs in a timely manner.
- Apprise clinical leadership of any changes in a resident’s status.
