Work Schedule:
75% FTE, 30 hours per week, Day/Evening- rotating 8 and 12 hour shifts, includes a 1 in 3 weekend and holiday assignment. Hours may vary based on the operational needs of the department.
Shifts: Most shifts will be 7am-7:30pm, with occasional hours of 7:00am-3:30pm and 3:00pm-11:30pm
Pay:
- External hires may be eligible for up to a $2,250 sign on bonus.

The 5th floor Inpatient unit is a fast-paced, 27-bed medical surgical general care unit that offers rewarding nursing opportunities at a Magnet designated hospital.

We are seeking a Nursing Assistant (CNA, NA) to:
- Be a supportive partner with Registered Nurses on an inpatient Medical Surgical unit and provide care to both medical and surgical patients.
- Provide direct physical care and basic nursing procedures and treatments in accordance with hospital policies and procedures. You’ll assist with activities of daily living, repositioning, transfers, patient mobility, and intentional rounding and performing 12 lead ECGs.
- Interact and engage with visitors, patients, and their family members to establish a trusting relationship to provide high quality care.

Education:
Minimum – Graduate of State of Wisconsin approved Nurse Aid Training Program
Work Experience:
Preferred – One (1) year of recent experience as a Nursing Assistant
Licenses and Certifications:
Minimum –
- Listed on the State of Wisconsin Nurse Assistant/Home Health Aid Registry
- BLS/CPR certification within 3 months of hire
