Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Certified Nursing Assistant to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will provide high-quality resident care, support the nursing staff, and ensure that residents receive the best possible treatment in a variety of settings, including long term care, sub-acute care, and memory care. This role requires strong clinical skills, excellent communication abilities, and a commitment to resident-centered care.
Responsibilities
Including, but not limited to:
Assistresidents with activities of daily living such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and eating.
Monitor and record vital signs, including temperature, pulse, and blood pressure.
Provide support in emergency situations by responding promptly to residentsneeds.
Assist nursing staff in providing hospice care for terminally ill patients.
Help lift and transfer residents safely usingappropriate techniques and equipment.
Maintain a clean and safe environment for residents by adhering to infection control protocols.
Document residentsinformation accurately while ensuring compliance with HIPAA regulations.
Collaborate with healthcare team members to deliver comprehensive resident care in our facilities.
Skills
Strong understanding of resident care principles and practices.
Ability to provide compassionate support in hospice care settings.
Proficient in lifting techniques to ensure the safety of both patients and staff.
Familiarity with Skilled Nursing, Sub-acute, and Memory Care and the specific needs of residents.
Understanding of HIPAA regulations to maintainresident confidentiality.
Ability to work effectively in high-pressure situations during an emergency.
Excellent communication skills to interact with residents, families, and other healthcare professionals.
This Nursing Assistant role is essential for ensuring that residents receive the highest standard of care while promoting their dignity and comfort throughout their healthcare journey.
