CNA/Certified Nursing Assistant - Carriage House Nursing and Rehab

Responsibilities of a Nursing Assistant:

• Help residents with ADLs.
• Take and record patient vital signs.
• Maintain a clean and safe living environment for residents.
• Lift, transport and move patients using the appropriate techniques.
• Comply with all safety and health regulations.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or GED.
• Must be currently certified as a nursing assistant in the state of Michigan.
• Prior work experience in a direct patient care setting or in a long term care facility preferred.
• Must be in goof physical health to be able to lift and move patients and be able to walk or stand for long periods of time.
• Must be compassionate and personable.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Excellent organizational skills and ability to prioritize assignments.
• Ability to handle emotional and stressful situations in a professional manner while remaining calm.
