CNA Certified Nurses Aid Night Shift - Marvin and Betty Danto Health Care Center

Responsibilities:

• Take and record vital signs
• Measure and record height and weight, intake and output
• Care for the guests’ environment
• Assist with bathing, grooming and toileting
• Assist with eating and hydration
• Observe guests’ skin when administering care and reports changes to licensed nurse; provide skin care as needed
• Meet guests’ mental health and social service needs

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or GED.
• Must be currently certified as a nursing assistant in the state of Michigan.
• Prior work experience in a direct patient care setting or in a long term care facility preferred.
• Must be in good physical health to be able to lift and move patients and be able to walk or stand for long periods of time.
• Must be compassionate and personable.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Excellent organizational skills and ability to prioritize assignments.
• Ability to handle emotional and stressful situations in a professional manner while remaining calm.
