We are currently seeking multiple Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs) to provide coverage in and around Atlanta, GA supporting the Atlanta VA Health Care System (AVAHCS). All nurses will perform requirements with minimal monitoring by a Registered Nurse (RN) provides basic, appropriate, effective interventions to individual patient needs according to established facility policies, safety standards and procedures. Services will take place on-site at 1670 Clairmont Road, Decatur, GA 30033, and several other satellite clinics in the Atlanta area.
The following criteria are required to be considered for this position.
JOB SUMMARY
In this role you will be expected to perform the following:
- Helping patients with activities of daily living (ADLs)
- Serving meals and helping patients eat.
- Lifting and moving patients.
- Taking vital signs.
- Maintaining a clean and sanitized environment.
- Facilitating patient care.
- Communicating with the healthcare team and family members.
QUALIFICATIONS
For consideration the following criteria must be met
- Must complete a criminal background check and physical within 90 days of acceptance.
- An active BLS Certification from the American Heart Association (AHA).
- An active and unencumbered CNA License.
- An up-to-date resume.
