CMT Field Technician - Atlas

Atlas has exciting infrastructure projects in the Pacific Northwest, that we are ramping up for Spring & Summer 2025. Office Locations: Idaho: Boise, Idaho Falls, Twin Falls; Oregon: Portland; Washington: Redmond, Tacoma

Responsibilities/Requirements:

• Minimum of ACI or WAQTC or the ability to obtain right away
• Minimum of 1-2 years of construction industry experience

• Assist with inspection of Heavy Civil construction.
• Perform a variety of job site tests, record test data, and interpret test results.
• Sample and test Hot Mix Asphalt, Cement Concrete, and other surfacing materials.
• Sample and perform aggregate tests such as sieve analysis, sand equivalent, and moisture content.
• Use nuclear gauge to test densities of asphalt concrete, surfacing and earthwork.
• Flexibility to adjust work schedule to coincide with contractor activities including the ability to travel as needed, work nights, weekends, holidays, and perform emergency callout/standby.

Compensation Range, hourly: $22 – 30

The expected salary range for the position is displayed in accordance with the state’s law. Final agreed upon compensation is based upon individual qualifications, experience and location.
