Coordinate Measuring Machine (CMM) programmers are tasked with creating inspection programs for CMM devices, which measure the physical characteristics of objects such as dimensions and geometrical qualities. These machines play a crucial role in the manufacturing and assembly process, particularly in automated production. The primary responsibility of CMM programmers is to ensure the proper functioning of the machine through programming and testing scripts. Split shift availability is preferred.

- Operating and programming Coordinate Measuring Machines (CMM) according to design and engineering requirements.
- Ensuring the precision machinery is in working order and correctly calibrated.
- Utilizing precision machinery as necessary.
- Composing or modifying programs for precision machinery.
- Maintaining regular attendance.
Qualifications:
To excel in this role, individuals must be able to fulfill each essential duty satisfactorily. The qualifications below represent the knowledge, skills, and abilities necessary. Reasonable accommodations will be made for individuals with disabilities.
Education and/or Experience:
- High School diploma or equivalent.
- Preferably 1-2 years of relevant experience in a manufacturing environment.
Skills:
- Proficiency in PC-DMIS
- Familiarity with SolidWorks (or another CAD system) for CAD models.
- Familiarity with statistics and data analysis is preferred.
- Competency in Microsoft Office suites (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, etc.).
- Clear understanding of drawings, layouts, and Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T).
- Strong critical thinking and decision-making abilities.
- Experience using measurement equipment such as micrometers, calipers, and height gauges.
