About the Job
CMM Programmer:
- 1st shift. Shift hours are 7:00 am-3:30 pm M-F.
- The pay range is $28.00-31.50/hour.
- Will be trained for 2-3 weeks to learn machines/products.
- Experience with MCOSMOS Software and knows how to run and operate a CMM Machine and willing to learn the inspection process per the QMS We are seeking a career-minded individual for the position of CMM Programmer.
- In addition to the job description below, candidates must possess strong customer service skills, an eye for detail, and the ability to multi-task at a quick pace.
Responsibilities:
- Create new and correct, modify, and rewrite existing CMM inspection programs.
- Plan and perform check-piece, in-process, and final inspection.
- Inspect incoming materials, in-process components, and finished goods to ensure quality and adherence to specifications.
- Proven experience/ability with mechanical inspection tools - calipers, optical comparators, bore gages, digital height gages, O.D./I.D. micrometers, indicators, Rockwell hardness testing, gage pins/blocks, and microscopes.
- Excellent computer skills and proficiency with MS Excel.
- Resolve quality compliance problems with other internal departments.
- Frequently required to sit, walk, or stand.
- Continually utilize visual acuity to operate equipment, read technical information, and/or use a keyboard.
- Frequently required to lift/push/carry items up to 50 pounds.
- Work on Specialized equipment.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or associate degree.
- Three years of CMM programming experience using MCOSMOS.
- Minimum of 3 years experience in CMM programming, inspection, measurement, and fixture development.
- 3 to 5 years Geometric Dimension & Tolerance (GD&T).
