Job Description:
The CML Business Process Analyst is responsible for working closely with all stakeholders throughout the commercial loan closing process to execute the ongoing review of operational processes, identity potential efficiencies, recommend solutions and work alongside management on any necessary projects or tasks. The CML Business Process Analyst will assist in the development and ongoing review of department procedures while concurrently collecting and assimilating data from various sources to drive data insights.

- Conduct hands-on reviews of business processes and procedures. Assist management in the development and ongoing review of policies, procedures, and best practices.
- Data collection, analysis, interpretation, and reporting utilizing key data from various sources.
- Develop and document workflows and procedures for new and existing processes.
- Use quantitative and qualitative data of operational processes to analyze, determine, and promote data driven decisions. Experience with metrics and KPI/KRI reporting to management.
- Develop strong working knowledge of the core system and other key business applications; identify system upgrades and enhancements, establish and lead working project teams to manage testing and implementation.
- Establish productive internal relationships; engage and partner with management on projects and initiatives through data discovery.
Required Skills:
- 3+ years of experience in data analysis and reporting.
- Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Computer Science or Business.
- Reporting enhancements and operational strategic projects experience required.
- Portfolio/financial data validation and reconciliation; middle office and back-office system implementation or equivalent operational experience in financial/banking institution.
- Ability to interpret business needs and thoroughly document policies and technical workflows. Experience with understanding complex reporting requirements.
- Strong analytical, verbal, and written communication skills; ability to work with stakeholders and independently deliver under tight deadlines/objectives.
- Ability to coordinate reporting implementation and initiatives across departments.
- Proven skills in working with Excel (Macros), Visio, Word and SharePoint (Design) is required.
