About the Job
AMA Medical Group in Dunedin, FL is currently hiring for a part-time orfull-time CMA to assist with triage calls, provide routine patient care, maintain medical records, and support the attending physician in our outpatient clinic. This Certified Medical Assistant position earns a competitive wage of $18.00 - $24.00/hr, depending on experience.

DAY-TO-DAY
This health care position enjoys a rewarding work-life-balanced schedule of Monday - Friday, 8:00 am - 5:00 pm or 7:30 am - 4:30 pm. We offer part-time hours as well.
As a certified medical assistant / CMA at our outpatient clinic, you support the office manager and the physician. At times, you assist with triage calls and medical records. At others, you put your excellent phlebotomy skills to use while making our patients at ease. Well-trained in patient care, you are given a range of tasks to complete, and you thrive on accomplishing them with compassion and accuracy.

REQUIREMENTS FOR A CMA
- High school graduate or equivalent
- Certification through an accredited medical assistant program
- 1+ years of experience in health care with strong phlebotomy skills
- Current CPR certificate or ability to obtain one within 90 days of employment
- Excellent phone skills
- Basic computer skills and the ability to type 45+ WPM as well as proficiency in MS Word and Outlook
The ability to speak Spanish would also be a plus!
