Position DescriptionThis position is responsible for providing technical support for COTS (CustomOff the Shelf) packages for the Management and Budget side of DTMB.This role will perform system administrator assignments including but notlimited to installing systems and application components and configuring them onWindows and Linux environments. This role will also be responsible for gatheringand documenting requirements, researching and presenting options, analyzing andrecommending solutions for both ongoing application changes and new efforts.Ensuring application and infrastructure security following Federal, State andindustry standards are also an essential trait in this role. This positionrequires heavy collaboration with vendors, customers, and other technical areasto understand and execute projects and changes timely.This position is expected to be proficient and knowledgeable with the followingtools and technologies: Windows Server administration (2016 and later), RHEL 7.0and above, Cloud Infrastructure Azure/AWS/GCP, Tomcat, IIS, MS SQL ManagementStudio, Dynatrace/ Similar debug tools, XML, PowerShell, Azure DevOps, Visio,SSO (SAML, OAuth, OpenID), Network knowledge LAN/WAN, Architecture, Firewalls,IOT, etc.This position will maintain various COTS applications and help configure changesas required for some SAAS products. To serve in this capacity this positionshould have thorough analytical skills and extensive experience with Windows andLinux operating systems, monitoring, networks, firewalls, architecture includingdiagraming, remediating vulnerabilities and other application and server supportduties.
