The Cloud Solution Architect (CSA) Manager - Data and AI will manage and lead a team of Cloud Solution Architects with deep expertise across Data and AI, which support a region for a specific set of customers within the Software and Digital Platform Division. Data & AI is one of the fastest growing businesses inside the Azure platform, addressing the increasing customer demand for extracting value and insights to enable businesses to digitally transform. In this role, you will lead the technical strategy and execution of Microsoft's Data & AI Services region assigned to you, to deliver on Microsoft's aspirations and consumption goals for those customers.? The?CSA?Manager is a senior cloud?technical?leader with deep domain?knowledge?and experience?in?guiding customers?across?data estate migration, modernization, and transformation.? Finally, you model how to engage constructively and transparently with the technical and/or business community locally and globally.** Other: Embody our culture (https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/about/corporate-values) and values (https://careers.microsoft.com/v2/global/en/culture) **Qualifications** **Required/Minimum Qualifications** + Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, Business, Liberal Arts, or related field AND 8+ years experience in cloud/data/AI technologies, information technology (IT) consulting/support, systems administration, software development/support, technology solutions, practice development, architecture, and/or consulting + OR equivalent experience. + 3+ years people management experience, including managing consultant practice managers, technical sales managers, and/or technical architect managers. + Technical Field Experience: 8+ years of experience in technical sales, engineering or consultative delivery + Domain experience in data, analytics, AI:?3+ years of experience with the domains of data, analytics, and/or AI/Machine Learning (ML) **Additional or Preferred Qualifications** Communication + Thought leader with executive presence, including the ability to hold?Chief Officer (CxO) and BDM level discussions, effective interpersonal, verbal, written and presentation skills Collaboration + Ability to generate trust, build alliances, and orchestrate interdisciplinary teams to the benefit of customers Technical + Proven ability to map the customer's needs to technical solutions + Solid technical understanding of Data and AI Enterprise cloud workloads + Ability to stay up to date on new/improved Azure scenarios and workloads + Empathy, curiosity, and desire to constantly improve, acquire new skills and drive for results + Demonstrated Technical leadership through prior technical coaching/leadership roles + Ability to act on Customer Escalation and needs, Unblock the customer through orchestration of right resources at the right time + 6+ years technical sales experience. + 6+ years project management experience. Experiences? + Prior work experience in other software and/or services companies such as Amazon?Web Services (AWS), VMware, Google, IBM, Oracle,?Snowflake,?Netezza, Teradata,?MongoDB,?CloudEra, etc. Cloud Solution Architecture M5 - The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is USD $124,800 - $242,600 per year. There is a different range applicable to specific work locations, within the San Francisco Bay area and New York City metropolitan area, and the base pay range for this role in those locations is USD $159,000 - $264,000 per year.
