Primary Responsibilities:
- We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Cloud Governance Engineer to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for developing and implementing a robust hosting services governance model, specifically focusing on setting new standards for material changes within a cloud environment. The successful candidate will play a key role in ensuring the efficiency, security, and compliance of our cloud infrastructure.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Governance Model Development: Design and develop a comprehensive hosting services governance model tailored for a cloud environment.
- Material Changes Standards: Establish and implement new standards for material changes in the cloud, ensuring they align with organizational policies, security requirements, and industry best practices.
- Policy Implementation: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement and enforce governance policies across the cloud infrastructure.
- Continuous Monitoring: Implement monitoring mechanisms to continuously assess the adherence to governance standards, identifying and addressing any deviations promptly.
- Documentation: Create and maintain comprehensive documentation for the hosting services governance model, ensuring it is up-to-date and accessible to relevant stakeholders.
- Collaboration: Work closely with IT, security, and compliance teams to integrate governance processes seamlessly into the overall organizational framework.
- Cloud Expertise: In-depth knowledge and hands-on experience with major cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud).
- Governance Frameworks: Proficient in designing and implementing governance frameworks for cloud services.
- Security Knowledge: Strong understanding of cloud security principles and practices, with the ability to integrate security measures into the governance model.
- Automation Skills: Familiarity with automation tools and scripting languages for the implementation of governance policies (e.g., Terraform, AWS CloudFormation).
- Compliance: Experience in ensuring cloud infrastructure compliance with industry regulations and standards.
- Communication: Excellent communication skills to effectively convey complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
- Problem-Solving: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to address challenges related to cloud governance.
- Collaboration: Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
- Documentation: Detail-oriented with a focus on creating clear and comprehensive documentation.
