SOS International LLC (SOSi) is seeking an experienced and highly qualified Cloud Project Manager to support US Government customer by managing all aspects of the cloud and colocation network services in accordance with Section 4.3. The Cloud PM shall work closely with the Program Manager (PM) and government personnel to ensure a high-quality customer experience. The Cloud PM is the single point of contact (POC) for cloud services and related technologies and solutions and shall have immediate reach back to the appropriate contractor personnel, e.g., customer service rep, billing rep, account team, network engineers, and executives. The Cloud PM shall be highly qualified and experienced to oversee successful performance of all cloud-related projects and activities.
Essential Job Duties
Supports the PM on development of all network architecture and engineering initiatives, including developing and leading design of new network capabilities and architecture where network connectivity is lacking or non-existent. Ensures the day-to-day network operations and delivery, works with the ISSO to ensure network security. Possesses and applies a comprehensive knowledge across key tasks and high impact assignments. Plans and leads major technology assignments. Evaluates performance results and recommends major changes affecting short-term project growth and success. Functions as a technical expert across multiple project assignments.
Minimum Requirements
- Required Experience: Minimum 3+ years of experience with a BA/BS degree or 5+ years of experience without a bachelor's degree.
- Required Education : BA/BS plus 3 years' experience or 5+ years of experience in lieu of a bachelor's degree; Bachelor's degree in Management Information Systems, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field (e.g., Information Technology, Networking, and Telecommunications),or three (3) years of experience in a technical field with a bachelor's degree in another field, or five (5) years of experience without a bachelor's degree.
- Minimum of five (5) years of experience managing cloud service providers for complex IT systems, preferably in telecommunications and networking.
- Required Certifications : Foundational and fundamental certification in native CSPs, preferably in Amazon Web Services (AWS), Google Cloud Platform (GCP), and Microsoft Azure.
- Experience managing cloud networks for major Federal government agencies.
- Experience overseeing, organizing, directing, and managing project teams for multiple, complex cloud projects for large Federal government customers, demonstrated in the types of experience as stated in the resume.
- Experience in Agile Scrum issue and project tracking, preferably in the Atlassian suite.
- Experience managing program resources and budgets.
- Ability to identify and mitigate program risks.
- Experience maintaining an environment fostering staff satisfaction and improving retention.
- Experience effectively communicating with technical and non-technical stakeholders to balance business requirements, performance, cost, and security concerns when architecting and designing solutions to meet customer requirements.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality assurance.
Preferred Qualifications
- CBP Full Background Investigation, Any DHS badge + DoD Top Secret or DoD Top Secret + willingness to get CBP clearance.
- ITIL certification.
- Cloud certifications.
- CMMI knowledge and experience.
- Knowledge of customer technologies such as Cisco, Juniper, F5, Infoblox, NetScout, Riverbed, Palo Alto, Amazon Web Services (AWS), Google, and Microsoft.
