Job Details
In this key role, you’ll ensure the security and efficiency of our Linux servers through timely updates and optimizations. Collaborating with software engineering teams, you'll refine our CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins and Bitbucket, enhancing deployment speed and automation. Your AWS expertise will be pivotal in strengthening our cloud infrastructure's reliability. You'll also safeguard our systems, managing user access and implementing robust security measures. Your prompt action in resolving infrastructure issues will keep our services running smoothly. By developing an internal wiki, you’ll promote knowledge sharing and continuous learning. Utilizing Terraform and Ansible, you’ll automate configurations, reducing manual effort. Proactive system monitoring with tools like Prometheus or Nagios will help you stay ahead of potential issues. Your participation in our on-call rotation is critical for maintaining our systems’ 24/7 availability and performance.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree CS, IT, or similar with 3+ years of experience
- Deep understanding of AWS and Linux-based cloud infrastructure.
- Skilled with CI/CD's using Jenkins and/or Bitbucket .
- Experienced with Terraform and Ansible .
- Proficiency with system monitoring tools such as Prometheus or Nagios.
- Creative Problem Solving: Bring innovative solutions to complex technical challenges.
- Clear Communication: Share knowledge effectively, maintaining clear and comprehensive technical documentation.
- Certification Bonus: While not mandatory, certifications in Linux, AWS, or similar fields will highlight your commitment to your craft.
