Cloud Data Analyst/ Azure Data Engineer from Collabera

Responsibilities: 

Cloud Migration and Optimization:  

• Lead the migration of existing BI and analytics workloads (WebFocus, Alteryx, Tableau) to Power BI and Azure. 


• Optimize cloud infrastructure for performance, scalability, and cost-efficiency. 


• Implement data pipelines and ETL processes using Azure Data Factory and Azure Data Factory. 

Data Modeling and Analysis:  

• Design and develop robust data models and visualizations. 


• Perform data analysis and generate actionable insights to support business decisions. 


• Collaborate with business users to understand their requirements and translate them into technical solutions. 

Team Leadership and Mentorship:  

• Mentor junior team members on Azure and Power BI technologies. 


• Lead and guide the team through the transition process. 


• Foster a culture of innovation and continuous learning. 

Security and Compliance:  

• Ensure data security and privacy by implementing best practices and adhering to industry standards. 


• Monitor and maintain the security posture of the cloud environment. 

Qualifications: 

• 5/7+ years of experience in data analysis, data engineering, or business intelligence. 


• Strong proficiency in Azure, including Azure Data Factory, Azure Synapse Analytics, Power BI, and Azure SQL Database. 


• Advanced SQL skills and experience with data modeling and ETL processes. 


• Experience with data visualization tools, particularly Power BI. 


• Strong understanding of cloud architecture and security best practices. 


• Ability to work independently and as part of a team. 


• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills. 

Preferred Qualifications: 

• Experience with migration projects, particularly from legacy BI tools to modern cloud-based solutions. 


• Certifications in Azure and/or Power BI. 


• Experience with scripting languages (e.g., Python, PowerShell).
