Cloud Architect at DCS Corporation

DCS Corporation is seeking a skilled Cloud Architect to work on interesting projects in a fast-paced Army Program Office environment.

Essential Job Functions:

Responsible for engineering, building, testing, and deployment of cloud service offerings for new and existing cloud architectures.

Develops architecture products, including technical architecture, business architecture, strategic planning, and business process design.

Participates in high-level enterprise architecture analysis evaluation, design, integration, documentation, and development.

Applies high-level business and technical principles and methods to difficult technical problems to arrive at creative engineering solutions.

Provides cloud architectural expertise to management and technical staff.

Develops cloud architectural products and deliverables for the enterprise and operational business lines.

Develops cloud system strategy and infrastructure design to support the strategy.

Advises on selection of cloud technological purchases with regards to processing, data storage, data access, and application requirements.

Required Skills:

Due to the sensitivity of customer related requirements, U.S. Citizenship is required.

Bachelor’s Degree and 20 years of applicable experience and experience working with Cloud environments

Active DoD Secret clearance.

Must be adept at migrating systems to a cloud architecture from disparate platforms and utilizing a wide range of tools to implement/re-implement systems in a cloud architecture.

Desired Skills:

Experience working in an Army/DoD requirement conducting architecture analysis, design and providing cloud architecture expertise to customers is preferred.
