Join our fun, high-energy team as a Closing Specialist III in Chase Home Lending and put your exceptional knowledge and understanding of home lending products to good use by serving as your teams' chief point of contact throughout the life of the loan while the Home Lending team supports you by sharing demonstrated knowledge in this area of specialization. Closer III is the most advanced Closer role, indicating advanced skillset and expertise across a
wide array of products. Closer III should exhibit cross-functional capabilities, expert handling
of complex scenarios, and act as a resource for peers and leaders
Job Responsibilities
+ Closes on Conventional Refi and Purchase, CEMA/Co-op, NY, New Construction, TX 50a6, FHA/VA, HAP/DPA, Coverage, Hotline, HELOC and manages and prioritizes individual pipelines
+ Works with vendors to cure all post signing related issues or concerns
+ Communicates to the settlement agent or closing attorney to verify that funds can be disbursed
+ Retrieves disbursement delay monetary shortages from settlement agents
+ Communicates with partners and settlement agents via phone
+ Analyzes and notate documentation that is outstanding
+ Verifies receipt of all closing documents to ensure they are correct and have been executed properly, and reviews all outstanding closing conditions regarding required documentation.
+ Makes closing confirmation calls to ensure the closing took place and update system of record
+ Requests and upload critical document packages from settlement agents and completes specific state required documents as authorized signer
+ Provides backup to Hotline and Coverage as needed
Required Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills
+ Top 10% of scorecard preferred and no performance management
+ Excellent working knowledge of mortgage originations, specifically mortgage ops
+ Strong Trouble-shooting and problem-solving skills
+ Excellent Communication skills/Customer Service
+ Ability to collaborate well with internal and external partners
+ Proposes solutions to problems and utilizes all available resources
+ High School diploma or equivalent is required
+ Minimum 4 years experience in mortgage loan processing/closing
