In New Bedford, MA, Under a clinician implement a treatment plan for youth and the family in achieving the goals.
teach to understand, direct, interpret, manage, and control feelings and emotional responses to situations and to assist the family to address the youth’s emotional and mental health needs.
Review/development of a risk management/safety plan.
Work with Clinician to provide family therapy to implement focused, structural, strategic, or behavioral techniques, or evidenced-based interventions, skill building to strengthen the family, and to advance therapeutic goals or improve ineffective patterns of interactions.
Identify community resources and dev of natural supports for youth and parent/caregiver goals and objectives.
Bachelor’s degree in psychology or equiv in a rel field using a credential agency.
1 yr experience as a Psychologist or rel.
